DESCRIPTION:World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated the first week of August around the world. \nIn honor of this\, NRHC and the WIC program will be hosting a World Breastfeeding Week event on Friday August 7th at Memorial Park in Susanville at 10:30. There will be opportunities to connect with local resources\, giveaway items\, refreshments\, kid friendly activities\, and information on pregnancy\, birth\, postpartum\, lactation\, and parenting. There will also be a dedication area for any parent who has experienced a loss.
