Dedicated NRHC Team Members!

I have been working at NRHC for 26 years. I started at the front reception desk. I worked my way up, enjoying the dedication of staff and Administration. The opportunities for advancement are welcome and encouraged. We have many providers that have been here for years. As a small community, we stick together. We form strong bonds both with each other as well as with our patients.

There have been many changes in Healthcare in the time I’ve been here. Electronic Medical records, HIPAA, Covid-19, but the dedicated staff is always flexible and ready to work with the new program, solve an issue, or work with a new team and make NRHC a continually great place to work.

Susanville is a beautiful area with so many wonderful outdoor activities. We do have four seasons. We have many lakes, hiking/biking trails. The air is fresh and clean, the water is excellent. The summers are beautiful, winter snows are great for skiing and snowmobiles. The small town laid back atmosphere is wonderful. We don’t miss the hustle and bustle of the big cities, but if we want more action, Reno is 1 ½ hrs. away, Chico, 2 hrs. away, Both have great shopping opportunities.

Working at Northeastern the past five years has truly been a blessing for my personal and professional growth. The environment is fast-paced, which keeps every day exciting and full of new opportunities. Healthcare is always evolving, and what makes NRHC so special is that leadership not only embraces change but actively encourages new ideas and innovation.
