World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated the first week of August around the world.
In honor of this, NRHC and the WIC program will be hosting a World Breastfeeding Week event on Friday August 7th at Memorial Park in Susanville at 10:30. There will be opportunities to connect with local resources, giveaway items, refreshments, kid friendly activities, and information on pregnancy, birth, postpartum, lactation, and parenting. There will also be a dedication area for any parent who has experienced a loss.
